Structured Training Withdrawal
Under the Apprenticeships & Traineeships Training Program, it is a requirement that Trainees are withdrawn from their day-to-day routine work duties to allow them opportunity to undertake their learning activities.
Training withdrawal is a minimum of 3hrs per week for Full Time trainees and 1.5hrs per week for Part Time Trainees.
Structured Withdrawal can include the following:
Working within a different department to learn new aspects of the business
Quiet study time away from normal working duties
Practical application of acquired competency in the workplace
